He started his career at small practice in Hampshire where he was exposed to all aspects of accountancy, taxation and auditing for SMEs. After spending 7 years in this role, Kevin was head-hunted by a start-up software development house for the position of Financial Controller, in which his experience of financial accounting was increased by learning not only significant management accounting skills, but sharp-end business management. His latest role is that of FD of a marketing and communications agency where board reporting, liaising with departmental directors are regular duties, in addition the managing the firms finances single handedly.
Kevin considers himself to be a true all rounder, but enjoys tax planning, where he achieved an outstanding 94% in his ACCA exams, and making sure that his clients pay as little as possible to HMRC, legally!
